The Topic Packs
The Topic Packs arose from a need for worthwhile
activities to be used for a day or half-day assignment and to be used with a class of children. They are each a brief, general look at the topic usually with suggestions for further extension.They have all been used and developed with classes of children.
Some packs were created to help teachers in a school where a class was already involved with a topic and the pack added useful extra information and activities.
Each pack is based around a topic with activities that will
- give the children worthwhile learning experience
- and will be an extension to topics normally covered in the school curriculum.
The packs include a Power Point Presentation lasting about 20 minutes, a set of colour Information Cards backing up the presentation and a set of Activity Sheets for the children.
