Background to the Resources

The resources offered here were originally developed over many

years of teaching and more recently supply teaching.

When it became impractical to carry large numbers of hard copy

sheets and information cards, I set about converting them to PDF

or other suitable format and saving them on CDs or Memory Sticks.

On assignments I was thus able to take a large library of resources

that I could quickly print or project.

As teachers, in the schools I visited, saw the quality and usefulness

of the resources they began to request copies of them.

So Resources to Hand was born.

I have not attempted to quote National Curriculum targets as I am

sure that most of the material can be used to fulfil more than one

target. The materials are there for teachers, or parents, to use as they think fit.
